NSW Speed Blitz Blues and Breakers Cricket Teams
NuActive Health was the official dietitian providers of the NSW Speed Blitz Blues and Breakers Cricket Teams for 3 years. NuActive Health unfortunately had to retire from this position June 2009 but wishes the teams well and hopes they maintain the great nutritional advances NuActive Health helped them achieve.
Australian Women’s Ice Hockey
NuActive Health was the first official dietitian provider to the Australian and NSW women’s ice hockey team and worked closely with them for a number of years including travelling both nationally and internationally to world cup championship events, helping the team turn from recreational players to international athletes.
Diabetes Australia – NSW
NuActive Health’s director, Joanne Turner was a previous Health Programs and Exercise Physiology manager at Diabetes Australia NSW for a number of years, with the important role of developing and running a number of diabetes prevention programs across the state. Joanne was an integral part in setting up Diabetes Australia NSW’s corporate health program, Vitality, developing and running many programs to different small, medium and large corporations in Australia.
